Day Three ~ Beaut morning!

We cracked 18 kms on day three and felt pretty chuffed with ourselves.
All a bit miserable for the second half of the day, we haven’t trained for this yet.
Somehow the little ones mustered the energy to run in the sand dunes until we called them back for bedtime.
Sadly there’s no vision of the wild horses running up off the beach and over the dunes onto the grass to graze after sunset. But you can imagine that one for yourself, in all it’s glory. Tom Burlinson eat your heart out. We even almost woke up our exhausted, horse obsessed Junebug to catch a glimpse... We’ll have to come back one day.
